How the operating system for the clinic day works, what it costs, and how practices move in.
About Microdoc
Microdoc is the operating system for the clinic day: an operating layer of modules that connects patient access, the diary, clinical documentation, communication, billing, and review around one patient journey.
No. Start with the modules your clinic needs; they work alongside the systems you run today. As the practice adopts more, Microdoc becomes the system of record for patients, diary, documents, and billing.
Private practice: general practice, specialist clinics, physiotherapy, and multi-site healthcare groups.
Control and trust
Clinical notes, letters, forms, and bookings wait for sign-off, and you approve, edit, or dismiss each one. Routine operational work, such as reminders and waitlist offers, runs inside rules you set, and you choose which actions always need a person.
Routine work completes on its own, and the team sees only the exceptions. You decide what completes automatically and what always waits for review.
Yes. Every action stays visible with its patient context, timing, and outcome, so the practice can see what happened and why.
Pricing and billing
€200 per doctor per month, with unlimited admin and support accounts and unlimited dictation included. Work that scales with activity is billed in credits of €0.10.
Each credit costs €0.10: 5 credits for an ambient consultation output, 5 for a chart summary, 1 per chart document ingested, 1 per SMS segment (about 150 characters; a typical message is two to three segments), 2 per report or referral processed, and 3 per minute of AI phone calls. A typical ambient consultation comes to about €1.20 in credits.
No. There is no setup fee, and migration, training, and support are free. The subscription is billed monthly through Stripe, credits are billed monthly in arrears and itemised on the invoice, and the plan is monthly rolling with no lock-in.
Moving in
Overnight. You send an export today, which takes about an hour of the clinic's time, and processing runs for 1 to 12 hours while the clinic is closed. Your team reviews a complete, verified copy the next morning, and go-live happens on your sign-off.
Nothing. We work only from exports, so the old system stays untouched, and record counts are verified twice: before your review and again before you go live.
Security and support
Yes. Microdoc is built for healthcare operations, with secure EU hosting and explicit controls around every patient-facing action.
Data migration, training, and go-live support at no charge, plus direct help configuring the modules and the review model for your practice.
Imaging for Mac
Microdoc Imaging opens local DICOM studies on a Mac, supports stack and side-by-side review, and lets you connect a confirmed study to the patient chart.
Yes. Choose a mounted CD, external drive, or folder. Opening local media does not upload the study.
The Imaging for Mac page shows the current signed build when one is available. Microdoc does not publish an unsigned or internally unaccepted artifact.
No. The current build is a private pre-regulatory research preview. It is not an FDA-cleared or CE-marked medical device and is not authorized for primary diagnosis or patient-management decisions.
