DICOM imaging for Mac

Review the study. Keep the patient context.

Open DICOM studies locally, compare series with linked location cues, and connect a confirmed study to the Microdoc patient chart.

No public build is available. The download appears after internal acceptance.

Current workflow

From local media to the patient chart

The viewer keeps local review separate from cloud upload and makes the patient decision explicit.

Open local media

Discover DICOM studies on CDs, external drives, and folders without first sending patient data to Microdoc.

Navigate and compare

Move through a series, zoom, pan, adjust presentation, measure length, and place two series side by side with reference lines.

Connect to the chart

Sign in through your browser, search for the patient, confirm the match, and upload the exact DICOM study manually or after an enabled auto-upload choice.

Data and safety

You choose when the study leaves the Mac.

The source study stays intact, and every cloud link requires an authenticated, confirmed patient decision.

Local first

Opening a disc or folder does not upload it. Cloud transfer starts only after you sign in and confirm the patient link.

Exact source files

Microdoc preserves the DICOM objects rather than replacing them with screenshots or lossy exports.

Research preview

The current build is not an FDA-cleared or CE-marked medical device and is not authorized for primary diagnosis or patient-management decisions.
